About the Role
The Global Catalog Operations team at Amazon is looking for highly motivated candidates to participate in auditing and correcting data within Amazon's retail catalog. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality catalog data.
Responsibilities
- Perform audit tasks by following predefined processes, guidelines, and SOPs
- Make logical decisions while performing audit activities, including situations with ambiguous information
- Report audit results and communicate findings within the organization
- Approve or reject audit entries based on established guidelines and provide reasoning for decisions
- Review governing sources to validate catalog data
- Browse websites and search for products to verify information
- Review catalog content quality using predefined standards and SOPs
- Verify product details for accuracy and completeness
- Analyze data and identify trends and patterns
- Identify recurring audit patterns and help improve guidelines and SOPs
- Provide feedback to improve existing processes and quality outcomes
- Work with project teams to write and test SOPs for new audit and data quality tasks
- Communicate with stakeholders and clients when required
- Support high-priority English content across English-speaking marketplaces
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and make logical decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
