About the Role
The Commercial Data Office (CoDO) within Global Commercial Services is responsible for powering customer experience and business growth through data. This role focuses on product management, data governance, data platforms, and large-scale data solutions while partnering with business, technology, and compliance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data-driven products and capabilities.
- Translate business goals into technical requirements and partner with technology teams for implementation.
- Collaborate with the Data Office and business stakeholders to design and deliver data solutions.
- Drive the conceptualization, integration, and enhancement of data products and platforms.
- Manage large-scale datasets and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Assess existing data governance frameworks, processes, and controls.
- Develop remediation plans to improve governance, compliance, access management, and data protection.
- Maintain documentation for governance frameworks, processes, and data management practices.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and compliance partners.
- Communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience in product roles focused on data-based solutions, analytics, or process automation.
- Experience in product development and solution design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and Big Data platforms.
- Understanding of data architecture, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Experience in data governance, data management, or data compliance.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and data access management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in end-to-end automation of solutions.
- Experience with Gen AI technologies.
- Knowledge of Collibra and Manta.
