About the Programme
This 12-month apprenticeship is offered under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The program provides valuable on-the-job training and exposure to Business Finance functions within Deutsche Bank's Private Bank franchise. Please note that there is no obligation for permanent employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
About the Role
This Business Finance role supports the Private Bank (PB) franchise and is responsible for managing divisional finance activities while working closely with CFO teams, global finance leads, business managers, and stakeholders across locations.
Responsibilities
- Support preparation of Revenue Flash reports and explain variances against prior trends and actuals.
- Collaborate with business managers across regions and businesses to analyze financial movements and business drivers.
- Support daily P&L reporting activities.
- Assist in FX exposure management.
- Support financial disclosures and balance sheet substantiation processes.
- Perform key finance controls including analytical reviews, financial adjustment reviews, and book completeness checks.
- Assist with month-end ledger close activities and journal postings.
- Support audit requirements and regulatory reporting processes.
Requirements
- Commerce Graduate or MBA Finance with specialization in Financial Accounting and Reporting.
- Good communication and articulation skills.
- Ability to interact with business stakeholders and senior management.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in diverse and cross-cultural environments.
- Good desktop productivity and presentation skills.
