About the Role
The Business Analyst will be responsible for requirement gathering, preparing user stories and use cases, participating in product design discussions, performing functional validation, product testing, business documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Gather customer requirements and analyze high-level business needs.
- Evaluate change requests and assess potential impacts on existing solutions.
- Partner with product management and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Convert approved business requirements into functional requirements and user stories.
- Provide inputs to Development and Quality Assurance teams.
- Conduct detailed design walkthroughs with product management and clients.
- Obtain requirement sign-offs from stakeholders.
- Provide project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure implemented solutions meet business objectives and user requirements.
- Maintain high standards of reliability, quality, usability, and measurement throughout product development.
- Provide testing and functional validation support.
- Analyze and resolve client-facing business issues.
- Prepare business and product documentation including BRDs and Agile story cards.
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of industry experience.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with business and technical teams.
- Understanding of software development and product lifecycle processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Capital Markets domain.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income Brokerage Operations.
- Understanding of Clearance and Settlement processes.
- Understanding of Repo processes.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting.
