About the Role
Transaction Banking Operations is part of Transaction Banking within the Investment Banking Division. The team is responsible for supporting Goldman Sachs' Transaction Banking products and services, including Deposits, Escrow, Virtual Integrated Accounts and Global Payments. The role focuses on transaction banking payment services, FX transaction flows, risk management, and delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the client service experience as part of the Global Transaction Banking Operations team.
- Deliver client service excellence while supporting new and evolving Transaction Banking products.
- Support global service functions and help establish and manage service architecture.
- Understand and support FX payment flows and liquidity sourcing within the Global Payment offering.
- Develop and implement best practices for international payment processing and related operational processes.
- Work with internal teams, strategic partners, and clients to manage payment, account, onboarding, and servicing queries.
- Handle client issue resolution, payment repairs, funding flows, and FX unwinds.
- Support risk management and operational controls across transaction banking services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 0-2 years of professional and relevant experience.
- Experience in Transaction Banking, Payment Processing, or FX Middle Office servicing functions.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of client support and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of FX Payments, International Payment Servicing, or Transaction Banking Account Management.
- Experience delivering client service excellence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
