About the Role
HSBC is hiring a CA Intern - Liquidity Management to support liquidity reporting and business decision-making through data analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement initiatives. The role provides exposure to financial services, regulatory reporting, and asset liability management functions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making.
- Review and validate data related to business performance.
- Prepare reports and commentaries for assurance processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies.
- Enhance operational controls and reporting quality.
- Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders.
- Support service improvement initiatives through feedback mechanisms.
- Escalate and resolve reporting issues in a timely manner.
- Adapt operational and project artefacts to organizational frameworks and methodologies.
Requirements
- CA or CMA Intern with interest in Financial Services.
- Ability to review large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Understanding of trend analysis and anomaly identification.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or knowledge in Asset Liability Management.
- Understanding of FSA Reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with control frameworks and governance processes.
