About the Role
Sagent is looking for a motivated and tech-savvy IT Support Engineer Trainee to join its IT Service Desk team. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting systems, managing support tickets, and ensuring a stable IT environment while developing skills in IT support operations.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the IT Service Desk team.
- Troubleshoot Windows devices and basic system issues.
- Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities while handling support requests.
- Work on and follow up support tickets in a timely manner.
- Support email systems, Microsoft Office applications, and web browsers.
- Ensure a stable and well-performing system environment.
- Administer and optimize assigned system environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Engineering degree in any domain willing to work in IT Support.
- BE/BTech in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics & Communication preferred.
- Strong passion for technology and willingness to learn.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts from office.
