Trainee Test Engineer

About the Role

Side is seeking a highly motivated Trainee Test Engineer focused on game testing. The role offers an opportunity to participate in the quality assurance process and work closely with clients to ensure high-quality functionality and performance of games across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance
• Identify defects and ensure overall game quality
• Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines
• Document and track bugs using designated bug-tracking tools
• Provide detailed bug descriptions and reproduction steps
• Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation
• Prepare and update test cases, test plans, and testing reports
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging game testing technologies
• Follow quality assurance processes and standards
• Contribute ideas for improving QA processes and testing efficiency
• Perform additional tasks assigned by QA leads or management

Requirements

• Interest in Quality Assurance and Game Testing
• Strong attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document defects clearly and accurately
• Willingness to learn game testing methodologies and tools
