Software Engineer 1

About the Role

Trimble's Owner & Public Sector division is hiring Software Engineer 1 professionals to build Cloud SaaS applications using modern AI-augmented development practices. This role is designed for high-potential graduates and early-career engineers who want to develop software that powers critical infrastructure worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready software features using AI-assisted development tools
• Contribute to Cloud SaaS applications under senior engineer mentorship
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development activities
• Use AI tools to improve development productivity and documentation
• Explore and adopt new AI and automation technologies
• Collaborate with global engineering teams
• Deliver high-quality code with comprehensive testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good English communication skills

Technical Skills

• Option A: C#, .NET, SQL
• Option B: Node.js, Java, React, or Angular
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor is advantageous
