Apprentice - Networking Project Management

About the Role

The Apprentice Networks Delivery Coordinator will join the Delivery Management as a Service (DMaaS) team within Network Strategy & Engineering. The role focuses on coordinating end-to-end project management activities and supporting the delivery of low to standard-complexity network projects across Vodafone's European markets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage implementation phases including design, development, testing, acceptance, and transition to operations.
• Maintain and update project plans in alignment with programme timelines and governance requirements.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders and team members.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation within NSE PM tools.
• Monitor delivery against SLAs, KPIs, timelines, and budgets.
• Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and engagement initiatives.
• Participate in innovation and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or an equivalent discipline.
• Up to one year of exposure to project management activities.
• Ability to work with virtual and cross-country teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Understanding of project governance, risk management, and structured delivery frameworks.
• General technical understanding of network engineering platforms and lifecycle phases.
• Strong collaboration and adaptability skills.
